The first and second groups of new residential buildings and supporting facilities in Quanzishu Village are one of the first 12 pilot projects of intelligent construction in Chengdu and one of the first 13 pilot projects of intelligent construction in Sichuan Province.”The relevant person in charge of China MCCS Group Corp.Ltd. told the reporter.

Four-wheel Laser ground Leveling Robot (" Xiaozhi 1 ")


With the high temperature, three robots, Xiao Zhi No.1, Xiao Zhi No.2 and Xiao Zhi No.3, are busy at the construction site. They can not only operate more accurately, but also work uninterrupted without fear of high temperatures. This is what the reporter saw at the construction site of the first batch of intelligent construction pilot projects in Chengdu on the 26th.

Robots work site


As the reporter sawthe three construction robots were four-wheel laser ground leveling robot (“Xiao Zhi No.1”), crawler polishing robot (“Xiao Zhi No.2”) and four-wheel ground polishing robot (“Xiao Zhi No.3”).  


Three robots are alternately constructed and cooperate tacitly--


When concrete was poured on the construction surface, “Xiao Zhi No.1”started its unmanned autonomous movement and high-precision leveling construction with the help of intelligent laser leveling algorithm and wire-controlled chassis construction technology;  


After the initial setting of concrete, “Xiao Zhi No.2”used cruise technology and intelligent swing arm algorithm to lift slurry and collect surface on the ground; "Xiao Zhi No.3" polished the ground before the final set of concrete.

“These robots can replace workers to carry out large-scale continuous operations, and avoid unfavorable situations for workers such as the inability of high-temperature that may affect the construction duration. At the same time, the concrete surface forming effect of intelligent construction robot after construction is more accurate than that of manual operation. One robot can replace multiple workers to construct at the same time. Under the same construction time, the working surface is wider than that of manual operation, and it has the advantages of high efficiency, high precision and high income.”Xu Mi, the technical director of the project, told the reporter.


Black tech goes far beyond robots


Xu Mi told reporters that the third section of the project is an intelligent construction implementation area, and the application of intelligent construction technology is carried out from the whole life cycle from design to constructionoperation and maintenance, with intelligent robot multi-machine application and comprehensive Internet of Things detection system as the characteristics of intelligent construction implementation of this project. 


“The application of intelligent construction of the project mainly includes five parts. One is to establish a standard data information model that runs through the whole life cycle of the building based on BIM exploration to open up the transmission of information data from design to construction to operation and maintenance; The second is to establish an information decision-making project management and control platform, use information technology to manage business, and realize the analysis, early warning and auxiliary decision-making of engineering data information based on intelligent algorithms; The third is to establish a pan-sensing information detection system for engineering elements and obtain on-site data information; Fourth, the application of construction robots can realize less humanized construction and improve the environmental benefits, construction quality and efficiency; The fifth is to establish a smart operation and maintenance plan for the community based on the Intelligent Operation and Maintenance System of MCCS. " Xu Mi said.  


According to the schedule, the first batch of concrete robots will begin to work on June 26, and intelligent hardware facilities such as indoor spraying robots, indoor polishing robots, ALC slat installation robots and intelligent construction elevators are expected to work in September.
