Construction of Jianhe Xixiu Bridge
Jianhe Xixiu Bridge was constructed by Guizhou Road and Bridge Group and is located in Nanzhai Town, Jianhe County. It is a fast passage for nearly 20000 residents from six nearby villages, including Zhanliu Village, to cross the Sanbanxi Reservoir area of the Qingshui River to Nanzhai Town. The bridge has a total length of 377 meters and a clear span of 288 meters. The main arch ring section is integral, and the construction process of hanging basket cantilever is adopted. It has the largest span of the same type of bridge in the world.

During the construction process, for the first time, the construction team adopted multiple new technologies and processes such as "arch ring variable solution surface design", "Beidou Tower deviation control technology", and "catwalk long-distance concrete transportation" in the construction of suspended arch bridges. This not only improved construction efficiency, but also reduced the impact on the surrounding environment, achieving green construction and efficiency improvement.

The planned construction period of the bridge is 3 years, and it is expected to be fully completed and put into use by the end of September 2024. After the completion of the bridge, the travel time between the two sides will be shortened from 90 minutes to 1 minute. This would not only solve the transportation problems of local and surrounding people for medical and educational purposes, but also form a linkage with the Jianli Expressway completed at the same time, becoming a new link connecting local economic development and bringing new opportunities for the development of the surrounding areas.
