On December 5th, the 2020 China Concrete and Cement Products Industry Convention was grandly held in Nanjing. The conference was hosted by the China Concrete and Cement-based Products Association (CCPA) and sponsored by China United Concrete Nanjing Co., Ltd., to accurately recognize the science of change in the industry under the great changes of a century. "Accurately recognize change, scientifically respond, be determined to innovate" as the theme for the 2020 CCPA Annual Convention. Nearly 2,900 representatives from the entire industry chain of the national concrete and cement products industry and related service areas, and market terminal large-scale user companies attended various activities of the industry conference.

The 2020 CCPA Annual Convention is a platform for China's concrete and cement product industries to exchange experience, share information, and build consensus. It has received extensive attention and support from inside and outside the industry.The 2020 CCPA Annual Conventionand the 2020 China Concrete Expo held at the same time have jointly built a rich and diversified large-scale display, exchange and learning platform for new concrete and cement products, new technologies, new equipment, and new services, aiming to promote the connection of China's concrete and cement products industry with architectural design and engineering construction which geared toward the end market, opening up the "last mile" of material innovation and product application in the industry, and actively helping the concrete and cement product industry to build a "dual circulation" pattern.

The Convention entered the awarding ceremony session: the licensing ceremony, the release of the "Belt and Road" recommended list, and the honorary award, etc. The award ceremony are including: the first national UHPC design and customization competition, the gold medal project of the fifth national decorative concrete competition, the first prize winning team of the 11th national concrete design competition, and the first prize of the first national ecological concrete innovation design application competition. The winning projects and the first prize winners of the 7th National Concrete Vocational Skills Competition were awarded.

In 2020, CCPA organizedf the evaluation and release of the First Recommended list of Key Products, Equipment and Technical Services for the Belt and Road. A total of 19 companies, 19 products, equipment and technologies were selected in the first recommended list. They are the representatives of outstanding companies in China's concrete and cement products industry, and they will be a new force participating in infrastructure construction in China and countries along the "Belt and Road" countries.

At the Convention, the First Recommended list of Key Products, Equipment and Technical Services for theBelt and Roadwas released officially. Executive Chairman Xu Yongmopresented the first recommended list information disk to the following diplomates in China:Mr. Yusuf Timol, Minister Counselor of the Trade Office of the South African Embassy in China,MrGlenn G. Peñaranda,Commercial Counselor of the Philippine Embassy in China and Mr. Mark Kachinga, Minister Counselor of the Embassy of Zimbabwe in China respectively.

The honorary title of Outstanding Entrepreneur and Outstanding Engineer in China's Concrete and Cement Products Industry, established in 2015, has been highly recognized by the entire industry. It is the China Concrete and Cement-based Products Association to commend the entrepreneurs and technical staff who have made significant contributions to the industry. Mr Zhang Yan, Executive President of Jianhua Building Materials (China) Co., Ltd., won the title of Outstanding Engineer in China's Concrete and Cement Products Industry in 2020.

The Convention specially awarded Mr Li Yufu, the former Chairman of Beijing Yugou Co., Ltd., the Lifetime Achievement Award in China's concrete and cement products industry.

The Convention specially awarded China State Construction Commercial Concrete Co., Ltd. ---the Special Contribution Award for Anti- Covid 19 epidemic in China's Concrete and Cement Products Industry.

Then entered the keynote speech session of the Convention. CCPA specially invited Mr Wang Hui, a researcher of the Development Research Center of the State Council and Dean of the National Research Institute of Economics, to give a keynote report entitled "New Opportunities for Industrial Development under the New Development Pattern". In his report, he emphasized to learn to realize the "14th Five-Year Plan" and 2035 long-term goals, to have a clear understanding of the new development stage, firmly grasp the new development concept, actively build a new development pattern, and be good at nurturing opportunities in crises and in changing situations. Improve the consciousness of practicing the new development concept of innovation, coordination, greenness, openness, and sharing, and run the new development concept into the corporate strategy and the entire process of business development, allocate resources more efficiently, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the entire industry, etc.

Dr Xu Yongmo, Executive President of CCPA, delivered a keynote report of on Accurately Recognize Change, Scientific Response, and Determine in Innovation . In the report, Dr Xu combined with the research and judgment of the latest international and domestic situation, considered with his own research and thinking on the industry, to encourage enterprises,to go out, to create new platform, to establish a new pattern, to extend the industrial chain, and to promoting green and intelligent development and many other dimensions. Dr Xu's report brought rich information and profound thinking to the participants.

The 2020 CCPA Convention and China Concrete Expo lasts for three days (4-6 December 2020). During the three days, delegates will obtain rich and diverse forms through viewing the Expo, watching the competition, listening to expert reports and choosing to participate in more than 30 branch activities. Participants can make concerted efforts to collectively brainstorm and provide ideas for the development of the industry.
