On April 20th, 2019 with the first truck loaded with prefabricated houses start running towards Saipan, “the belt and road” Saipan project by the Hengyang Yuanda Construction Group was officially initiated. Three hundred prefabricated houses will be transported to Saipan successively, marking the first footprint of the company to step into the global market.

In October last year, 18-grade “jade hare” typhoon passed across Saipan and made massive destruction on the local houses. The exported prefabricated houses will be used for the indemnificatory housing project of Saipan, with the total value estimated over 60 million RMB. According to the company advisor, the prefabricated houses are strong and easy to be assembled. After all the components arrive at Saipan, it will take only one day to build up a single house. Not only will it speed up the reconstruction after typhoon, but also greatly improve the local ability to fight with natural disasters.

Prefabricated building refers to the construction of houses by assembling components manufactured in factories like playing with lego. Compared with traditional construction, it reduces the energy consumption, alleviate environment pollution, and improve quality of buildings. As an effective way to save energy, reduce emission and promote safe construction, prefabricated buildings are being increasingly welcomed by market in recent years.
