On August 6, 2019, China Concrete and Cement-based Products Association organized the scientific and technological achievement appraisal meeting for the project entitled as "Automatic general production line for small and medium sized prefabricated concrete components" which was completed by Qingdao Hicorp Group and Qingdao Hicorp Group Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co.,Ltd (Qingdao Hicorp).

With the rapid development of prefabricated buildings in China, the manufacturing of prefabricated concrete components and production lines has become the focus of attention in this industry. At present, under the promotion of the national and local governments, a large number of prefabricated concrete component factories have been built in China. The development of prefabricated buildings in China is also facing many challenges. First of all, there are various forms of buildings in China, the basic size of the component is not unified, the form is diversified, and there are many special-shaped components. Secondly, the process of different types of prefabricated concrete components are different, which will result in high investment costsFinally, many procedures of the traditional process line need manual operation, which is inefficient, time-consuming, low degree of automation and high labor cost.

In order to further promote the development of prefabricated building system, Qingdao Hicorp have designed and developed “Automatic general production line for small and medium sized prefabricated concrete components” independently, especially for slope protection, municipal landscape products. The technical team paid more attention to the following key systems: control system, traction and transportation system, feeding system, concrete pouring and vibrating system and curing system.

This project has developed a general automatic production line for small and medium-sized prefabricated concrete components, and realized the production of different types and varieties of prefabricated concrete components in an automatic production line. A three-dimensional feeding system is developed which consists detachable and rotatable discharge port, automatic measuring system, and cross switch control technology. The trolleys can fix different kinds of small-and-middle-size-molds of prefabricated concrete components, enlarge the varieties of products. The curing kiln of which inner space can be adjusted, swinging and vibrating table, transportation and traction system, monitoring and maintenance system can effectively improve the production efficiency, guarantee the product quality and reduce the production cost.

This project started in 2016, developed a special-shaped prefabricated concrete component production equipment and automatic production line with independent intellectual property rights. It has been applied in many prefabricated concrete component factories, and received good reviews and comments from clients. Now this project has changed the current situation successfully that there is no professional automatic production line for small-and-medium-size special-shaped prefabricated concrete components in China. The production line has high degree of automation and high production efficiency. It is the first automatic production line that can produce multiple prefabricated concrete components in China. It is a good choice of equipment which has significant economic benefits.
