At 8:50 on September 3, local time in Congo (Golden), the dam and plunge pool project of the Busangga Hydropower Station, which was built by China Electricity Construction Hydropower Bureau, successfully completed the river closure.

The Busanga Hydropower Station is located on the Lulaba River in the southern part of the Congo (Golden) region, about 410 km from the city of Lububen, about 70 km from the city of Kolučić, and about 110 km from the highway. The total installed capacity of the power station is 240 MW (single unit capacity is 60 MW). The dam built is a parabolic double-curved arch dam with a dam crest elevation of 885.0 meters.
