On September 6, the steel structure of the Kuwait University City parking lot was completed, and the largest outdoor parking lot in the Middle East under construction by the Sinohydro Bureau 8 Co., Ltd was basically completed. The parking lot is an appurtenant work for the University of Kuwait City. The total area of the project is about 600,000 square meters. The total number of designed parking spaces is 20,000, which is only 6,000 different from the world's largest parking lot - the Grand Stadium in East Roseford, New Jersey, USA. In 2012, the Sinohydro Bureau 8 Co., Ltd and COPRI jointly won the bid to complete the project.
