China Concrete and Cement-based Products Association (CCPA), as a prestigious non-profit organization, was founded in 1986 and serves the industry nationwide. CCPA had been previously named as “Cement Products Branch of China Building Material Industry Association”, from 1986 to 1992, and “China Cement-based Product Industry Association”, from 1992 to 2006.

Pursuing to promote the development of concrete and cement-based product industry, CCPA was established by joint forces of industry and social organizations on a voluntary basis. Member units are the industry's important ready-mixed concrete, all kinds of cement products manufacturers, equipment enterprises, scientific research institutes, provincial and local concrete and cement products industry associations, etc. CCPA has over 2,000 business / organization members. Covering almost all the leading enterprises in concrete and cement-based products, CCPA members’ output value amounts to 50% of the whole industry. CCPA now has 36 branches / committees and 16 industrial technological innovation platforms.

The concrete and cement-based product industry is now widely serving the construction of building, water conservancy, transportation, railway, port engineering, mining and other industries. This industry is also an important social security industry for ecological protection, environmental restoration, waste utilization and emergency rescue. In the following years，the national carbon peak and neutrality targets will inspire companies in ramping up efforts to embrace sustainable practices.
