On January 10, the MIIT and other ten departments jointly issued a notice on the implementation plan for the high-quality development of the green building materials industry. The main goal is that by 2026, the annual business revenue of green building materials will exceed 300 billion yuan, with an average annual growth rate of more than 10% from 2024 to 2026. In total, more than 30 characteristic industrial clusters will be cultivated, more than 50 green building materials application demonstration projects will be constructed, not less than 100 cities will implement government procurement policies, 12,000 green building materials product certifications will be issued. The ability of green building materials to lead the high-quality development of building materials and guarantee the improvement of building quality has been further enhanced.

On January 11, the national water conservancy work conference introduced that in 2023, the national water conservancy departments at all levels across the country have made every effort to promote the construction of water conservancy infrastructure, accelerate the construction of the main skeleton and arteries of the national water grid, the construction of provincial-level water grid pilot districts continued to be promoted, the municipal and county level water grid pilot districts launched one after another. The annual completed water conservancy construction investment is 1,199.6 billion yuan, which hit a record high again after building on the first big step up to a trillion yuan in 2022.
