On August 7, 2024, Wu Wengui, Executive Presideng of China Concrete and Cement-based Products Association (hereinafter referred to as CCPA), and his delegation went to Beijing Yantong Construction Components Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yantong) to investigate digitalization and intelligent manufacturing. Accompanied by Ren Chengchuan, General Manager of Yantong, Wu Wengui had a field trip about the component factory and component production line, and then the two sides had a discussion.

At the symposium, Zhao Zhigang, Deputy General Manager of Yantong, introduced the current situation of digitalization and intelligent manufacturing application, he also talked about the challenges and solutions faced by component enterprises in carrying out this work, and put forward the outlook and suggestions for digital transformation. Yantong has made good achievements in digitalization and intelligent manufacturing, applying the digital tracking management platform for the whole chain of prefabricated components for management, and exploring and attempting intelligent manufacturing such as mold welding robots, formwork erection production line, automatic reinforcement bar tying robots, and intelligent maintenance shed.

Ren Chengchuan, General Manager of Yantong, expressed his warm welcome to Wu Wengui and his delegation, and elaborated on the difficulties and challenges faced by the advancement of digitalization and intelligent manufacturing work in component enterprises. He pointed out that due to the policy environment, market fluctuations, product characteristics and other influences, the input-output ratio of digital and intelligent manufacturing is relatively low, and the progress of digital transformation is slow, and he hoped that with the improvement of the market ecological environment and the construction of the residential industrialization base, the digital and intelligent manufacturing technology can play a more important role in the component enterprises.

Wu Wengui firstly expressed his thanks to Yantong for its warm welcome and shared the application scenarios and achievements of digitalization and intelligent manufacturing work in ready-mixed concrete industry. He put forward a few thoughts on digitalization and intelligent manufacturing work, which is not only the necessary road for enterprise development, the window to promote corporate image, the direction of enterprise development; but also an important way to enhance customer experience, an important means to solve the problem of enterprise cost control. CCPA will take the digitalization and intelligent manufacturing work as an important task to promote, actively integrating industry resources, building a communication platform, to solve the difficulties and pain points in the promotion process. He suggests that industry head enterprises actively participate in the industry, and jointly contribute wisdom and strength to the digital transformation of the industry.
