Sobute High Performance Emulsified Asphalt Cold Recycling Technology to Help Xuancheng —G235 Xinyi-Haifeng Highway Gets a New Look
Recently, the high performance emulsified asphalt cold recycling technology independently developed by Sobute New Materials Co., Ltd. (Sobute) was successfully applied on the G235 Xinyi-Haifeng Highway in Langxi County, Xuancheng, marking another significant breakthrough in the field of road maintenance technology. This technology, with its unique “modification before emulsification” principle, effectively overcomes technical bottlenecks such as the difficulty of emulsifying modified asphalt, poor stability, and high viscosity. It has achieved high performance of emulsified asphalt mixtures, providing a new solution for the road maintenance industry.
Improving the statistical accounting system for carbon emissions is a systematic project and a long-term task. Focusing on the construction of a dual-control system for carbon emissions, the Program adheres to the combination of long and short terms, and proposes two main objectives at two stages.
Project Overview
As an important transportation artery in Langxi County of Xuancheng G235 Xinyi-Haifeng Highway, its road condition is directly related to the development of local economy and the convenience of people's travel. The successful application of Sobute's high performance emulsified asphalt cold recycling technology not only greatly improves the quality of the road and prolongs its service life, but also significantly reduces the maintenance cost, injecting new vitality into the sustainable development of local transportation infrastructure.
Technology of Sobute
The high performance emulsified asphalt cold recycling technology launched by Sobute not only overcomes the limitations of traditional technologies but also achieves a qualitative leap in performance. Specifically, it is characterized by “three highs and one short”: high strength, high rut resistance, high water resistance, and short curing time.
Field measured data shows that the technology achieves a splitting strength of over 1.20 MPa at 15°C, a dynamic stability of 7875 times/mm at 60°C, and a low-temperature bending strain exceeding 2000με. The dry-wet splitting strength ratio is 102.5%, and the freeze-thaw splitting strength ratio reaches 91.2%. Notably, even under conditions of approximately 5°C and with a curing time of just 3 days, highly intact core samples can be extracted, greatly improving construction efficiency.
In the practical application of G235 Xinyi-Haifeng Highway in Langxi County, Xuancheng, the high performance emulsified asphalt cold recycling technology shows its excellent road performance. The mixing ratio of the old material is as high as 92%, which not only effectively saves resources, but also significantly reduces the project cost, and at the same time ensures the strength and durability of the road. Compared with the traditional emulsified asphalt cold recycling technology, Sobute's new technology not only has a significant improvement in performance, but also realizes a win-win situation in terms of environmental protection and economic benefits.
