The opening ceremony for the 1st China Concrete and Cement-based Products Association (CCPA)- China West Construction Group Co., Ltd. (CWCG) workshop on international business management leading talents hosted online successfully on the night of 15 April 2021.

The workshop will start from 15 April and end on 15 July 2021, for 3 months of 12 online classes. The workshop on international business management has four learning modules: macro-political and economic environment, international engineering market development/investment and financing management, legal/tax compliance management and risk prevention, and localized management and security risk prevention.

Based on the advantages of the platform, the CCPA invites well-known industry-related experts and entrepreneurs with rich practical experience to give lectures to the students according to the current stage of business development in the initial stage of the international business of CWCG, so that CWCG overseas employees can learn more about the knowledge of destination country on macroeconomic situation, laws and regulations, economic and trade policies and business environment, so as to better develop and operate overseas business.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Glenn G. Peñaranda, Commercial Counsellor of the Philippine Trade & Investment Center (PTIC) in the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Beijing, China, gave students a presentation on Philippines: Opportunities in Infrastructure & Construction. Students leans a lot on investment policies and the importance of the knowledge on business culture of the Philippines.

Mr. Liang Hongxing, Deputy Director, Reanda International "Belt and Road" Finance, Tax and Law Supporting Center, gave a special lecture on Differences in Tax Laws among Asian Countries. More than one-hour online sharing, Mr. Liang introduced the differences in the tax systems of Asian countries, tax preferential policies and case studies of tax risk prevention and control.

The nearly 45 CWCG trainees participating in the workshop are mainly from overseas business units of Algeria, Egypt, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia and the Philippines.Everyone meets on the Internet in different countries and time zones to start the journey of the 1st CCPA- CWCG workshop on international business management leading talents.
