On the morning of September 25th, Ready-mixed concrete chief engineer forum invited five industry experts to conduct exchanges, which was hosted by Zhang Jianqiang, Vice President of the Jiangxi Building Materials Scientific Research& Design Institute  and Secretary General of Jiangxi Association of Bulk Cement and Ready-mixed Concrete.

Professor Lu Xinying from Tsinghua University first brought the report "Several Factors Affecting Early Shrinkage of UHPC: Comparative Experiment". Professor Lu Xinying introduced the research background, test methods, test results and preliminary conclusions.

Jiang Jiabiao, chief scientist of Jilin Zhongxin Chemical Group Co., Ltd introduced "Slump Loss and Control of Ready-mixed Concrete". He concluded that the hydration characteristics of cement and ineffective adsorption of other components lead to consumption of additives and free water, which are the most fundamental reasons for the slump loss of ready-mixed concrete over time.

Long Yu, deputy general manager of China United Concrete Jining Co., Ltd, gave a report on "Enlightenment of Doha's New Port Project on Domestic Concrete Quality and Cost Management". Long Yu detailed the situation of Doha's New Port Project and the general situation of main proportions of concrete mix. 

Chai Tianhong, Director of Jiangxi Building Materials Scientific Research & Design Institute

Chai Tianhong, Director of Jianngxi Building Materials Scientific Research & Design Institute, made a report on Warning and Lessons of Changsha ‘Problem Concrete ’Case. He analyzed the legal basis and technical basis of sentencing for "problem concrete" in Changsha city of Hunan Privince and the existing problems of ready-mixed concrete enterprises, and expounded the lessons learned by industries and enterprises in this case, how to prevent and control the existing quality risks, and how to protect themselves.

Chai Tianhong suggested that ready-mixed concrete enterprises should control quality risk points from the whole process of marketing, materials, production, transportation, construction, proportions of concrete mix, inspection and data, and carry out quality management in the whole process.
