On September 11, local time,China Energy Engineering Group Central China Electric Power Test Research Institute Co.,Ltd undertook the design of the Laos Baou-Pudong 230kV power transmission and transformation project successfully connected to the grid, which marks the power station was successfully put into operation. The project is one of the key projects of the “Belt and Road” initiative. The project funds are derived from the preferential buyer's credit of the Export-Import Bank of China. It greatly enhances the power transmission capacity in the north and plays an important role in improving the reliability of local power grid supply and promoting local economic development.
